Critical Success Factors for Emerging Growth Companies

with Robert and John Dilts

This seminar applies the unique and exciting Success Factor Modeling (SFM) process, developed by the Dilts Strategy Group, to teach the critical success factors necessary to promote growth and development of emerging growth technology companies.

With the tools of the SFM process, it is possible to define and explore some specific models, principles and skills that will allow entrepreneurs to be more successful leaders and managers. Dilts Strategy Group has applied the SFM process to identify the critical success factors employed by successful entrepreneurs and emerging growth companies so that other companies may learn these strategies in order to facilitate the same level of success.

This program covers some of the essential skills and tools that are required to create a successful "start up" and make it attractive to potential investors. Many of the skills presented in this course have been modeled from and were inspired by effective leaders, managers and entrepreneurs from around the world. Participants will explore skills for creativity, visionary leadership, planning, team building, and gain a clear understanding of what to expect when raising funding from potential investors. Group members will receive insight and coaching on how to apply these skills and knowledge in order to attract investors looking for the best possible return on their investment, and learn how to step out of their own perspective and into that of an investor.

The specially designedSeminar/Investor Conference format will involve "hands on" exercises and opportunities for individuals and groups to practice making presentations and receive feedback. It will provide invaluable information and experience for entrepreneurs, investors, consultants, financial and legal advisors and company leaders.

Entrepreneurs will learn what to provide potential investors in order to strengthen their valuation, and investors will learn what to look for in start ups. The experiential format will also provide consultants and company leaders with tools to stimulate entrepreneurship in others. Special ‘break out’ periods give participants time to explore investment leads and potential alliances.

This unique event synthesizes both a seminar and investor presentation format.

The structure includes instruction, modeling, investor presentations and panelist feedback, providing the opportunity for both the learning and implementation of valuable skills for effective entrepreneurship. This specially designed structure provides the following important benefits:

  • training in effective proven strategies
  • time for developing and communicating company vision
  • modeling success and defining critical success factors
  • getting feedback
  • meeting investors or investment prospects
  • meeting possible partners for alliances
  • finding clients and contacts for investment leads
