The ENHANCE STATE mode of the STATES program, you enter any combination of letters or numbers, select a color and then also select what criteria to use to make the word large. You may use left, right, or both left and right GSR and activated, balanced or relaxed readings to cause the word to get larger.
If you wanted to practice a relaxed state, you would enter the word relaxed or any other word that equated to relaxed for you. You would then set the parameters to whole brain and relaxed. The word on the screen would grow large and change color to your preselected color when you were relaxed on both sides of your body. You could also experiment with one side of your body or the other.
